Greetings!
My father was a poet in life and verse, and a singer of songs. One song held particular meaning for me. It was my namesake, "I'll take you home again Kathleen". So where is home, as I'm prone to wander and often in need of being taken there again? It is here in the rolling hills of upstate New York, in the country home I built, where I finished raising my four children, where I welcome the company of friends and family. It is in the memories of so many gifts of nature and persons midst effort to build a home worthy of these gifts! Yes, here there is a lofty dwelling with lots of windows, decks and balcony all overlooking the changing of seasons in years and heart. Yes, here are spacious green lawns to rest in and gardens to view or harvest! There are evergreens and locusts waving their branches in greeting in mornings and hosting the wind in delightful ways throughout my days! There is the campfire pit on hillside where many have seen the fire, where moments still resound through time of conversation and music. There is art everywhere in both design and designer appreciation! I extend a welcome to you, friend, to join me here. I extend my father's often closing word to me - ENJOY!
It is my hope to share what has been given to me - what is here at home with Kathleen. I am a poet too. I am a collector of writings, I think, worthy of your interest. I have pictures to share.
